Nurullah Gökdoğan
Founder of Krafties and editor of The Fee Gap. He wrote the ranking rules and is accountable for every score on this site.
Background
Nurullah founded Krafties, the independent product studio that publishes this site. He also founded KraftStories, a hands-on workshop company with studios in New York City’s Financial District and Honolulu’s Chinatown. Before KraftStories he worked at PlusMinusOne, a mobile app studio.
He also edits The Hype Gap, Local Hawaii Events and Local NYC Events.
Why he started The Fee Gap
Running studios in Honolulu and New York means a steady stream of visitors who have just landed at HNL or JFK, often with a story about the rental counter. Every “is it legit?” article says yes and stops there. The Fee Gap was built to answer the question people really mean: will I pay what I was quoted?
